Our 18 bedrooms — 12 in the main house, plus 6 in the Lodge — have everything you need for a great night's sleep – think big beds and fluffy pillows aplenty – plus all the little extras such as soft cotton robes and Verden products. Each room has its own bathroom with a rainforest shower, and some come with bathtubs big enough for two.

Biggest

These rooms have ample space to get ready before a party. There’s a freestanding tub in the bedroom, wrapped in our favourite Shell Grotto fabric by Fermoie, and double sinks in the bathrooms. You’ll also find sofas for curling up with a good book.

Big

Enough space to spread out and make yourself at home, including sofas or comfy seating areas. Original Georgian windows fill these rooms with plenty of natural light.

Medium

These rooms come with a set of comfy armchairs for flopping before the action starts.

Little

The smallest of the bunch, but just the right side of cosy.

The Lodge

Located separately from the main house at the end of the south-facing lawn, with six double bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, blending our signature refined interiors with a more pared-back approach — just the right side of cosy.

All our bedrooms come with:

A super king-size bed and organic mattresses handmade in Devon (main house), or a double bed in the Lodge

A help-yourself mini bar with sweet and salty snacks, soft drinks and cold brew coffee
